Nothing yet today, yesterday was some of the spruce tip pale ale from work, but before I started drinking yesterday, I was able to grab this 3 tap kegerator from a guy that said it was free to a good home on the local homebrew club Facebook group.

He was a bit of a strange guy who said he quit drinking and that was all he would say about why he wanted to give it away. It's a nearly $1000 kegerator brand new, so I gave him $150, I dunno, I wanted to pay him something to keep my conscience clear, maybe he needs it but wouldn't say.

Anyway, it was plugged in and sitting at 34F when I got there so everything is working just fine, but I disassembled it entirely to give it a good scrub down before I put into service. Still need to clean the beer lines and tap faucets, but I'll need to grab a couple things from work so I'm done for today.

A buyer in Germany imported over 2000 cans of Miller High Life from the US. Unfortunately for him, once they arrived in Belgium, customs authorities destroyed them. According to French law, a product cannot be sold using the word "Champagne" unless it is produced in the Champagne region of France. And the High Life's famous slogan "the champagne of beers" is stamped on each can.

Importing American beer to Germany never goes well. Everyone knows that. This guy should now try to import Sauerkraut and Bratwurst and a first press of Rammstein - Herzeleid.

Around here, yes, figuring that they’re out of Chicago. A lot of their beers have been around here for years. One of the most favorite offerings around here are there barrel aged out that they release around November.

About the only thing that they make that I’ve ever been very impressed with his their green line, which is actually pretty decent.

On a related note, it’s been a while since I’ve been out of the “bourbon game”, and recently looking at prices of what used to be easy to find bottles, It is shocking how much these things have shot up in price. The gray market really has fucked up the entire scene.

Nah, miss me with that bullshit.

I’m just here to bla-bla-bla about vapid shit. I’m too old for political and social banter.
