A while back blastar had a 'tech demo' called Drift Out or something similar. It worked a little wonky, rotating the map around the car, but I liked how it looked.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago, blastar released a small game called WorldRacer a single lap racing game that can play up to 4 players (I really want to figure out a way to do that between 2 cabs...)
The CD version is currently available or you can become a paying Patreon member to get the rom version (although says it might be made available for free too after a brief exclusive period).
It is a nice little challenge with the car physics changing between surfaces of asphalt, grass, mud, snow, ice, water, and sand (did I forget any).
