worst game of this generation? Easily GT5 (IMO)

Wait a minute, is Elixir actually Master Tasuke, or did I miss a thread where he posted a doll collection of his own

Kid Aphex got into it with him and posted his doll collection once.

EDIT: wrong search string nvm.

I remember when I tried to go back and give GT5 another chance (I had purchased the CE version because I was expecting greatness from the game, so I felt I should purely based on money spent), it was sometime after the first big update which I had read about, and figured "In for a penny...". The update was nearly a gig and took a couple of hours with the PS3's wifi...and that was the last time I turned the game on. On the plus side, at least I can say that I own the GTR the CE came with, even if it's 1:18 scale.
I'm in the Forza camp, and the last one has been spectacular, but Murray has the right of it: ever since I got the STI, racing games don't have quite the same impact as they used to.

That took me to the Tasuke thread. I searched but didn't find it. I, however, cracked up over reading how hard I trolled Deuce in that thread, so it's okay.

Is that vain?

I lost it at the "you see, over on his blog, when he's talking to himself" line

Elixr trolling you in this thread for no real reason was pretty pointless. I don't really see what anyone gained out of it. You, him or the captivated audience.

It was like rubbernecking a perfectly good stop sign at a crossroads in the middle of Nebraska.

Pretty damn funny in this thread, as was the Kid Aphex vs. Elixir thread (thanks for that link Spoon). The backpeddling on the L4D issue was amazing, especially since the presumption was made that the original poster was going to sell the copied games, of which there was no mention.
Well, at least all this bullshit has been amusing.

Yeah, its a pretty rotten thread and I don't really enjoy this shit at all.

Elixir: its true, breaking shit when things don't go your way is the very definition of immaturity.

But it's done. Lets move on.

So thanks for the vote of confidence, but take my crazed, semi coherent rantings with a grain of salt.

Man, I have the same mentality after coming home from a long day of work. I am NOT sitting around waiting for several hours worth of a download. Unless the game is Top 5 in a generation (God of War or something), it's getting sold. Or given away. Or cathartically shot with a .357.

Come on now, dude.

That would be immature.

Didn't you read this thread?

Yes, RRT4 is an amazing game. I could never get used to that little rotary controller, but everything about RRT4 screams style (with plenty of substance to boot).

I loved this game. The story lines and music were all excellent. Freaking great intro with one of the best looking CG girls I have ever seen. So much time I invested into perfecting drifting. My fave racing game. Can't stand the sim racers.

Spoon, I don't think your actions were wasteful. It is an affirmation of your refusal to accept such a piece of shit game. It is no different than walking out on a shitty movie you have already paid for or burning the jersey of a player that betrayed your favourite team. Just lay off the natives, okay? They have had a tough time since they came into contact with white folk.

Oh no doubt. I think they're awesome for how they constanly beat the government back and tell them to fuck off whenever someone tries to dictate pointless shit to them. The rest of us "immigrants" have much to learn from their ways.

And I take back what I said about the worker, he's been a lot less obnoxious these days....pretty decent even.

I'm still waiting for something to top Ridge Racer Revolution.... (as in, all racing games suck compared to it)

All this dodging is irritating:

WHICH BRIDGE?

It sounds cool. I want to know more.
