College fund if your talking Harvard, and law school.

Thats the price of a decent 3 bedroom townhouse here. Craziness

Its in Spain too, no conversions found there.

That's Bel's collection.
I doubt anyone would buy a full set at once and especially at that price...

That's one of those auctions where it's "I don't really want to sell this, but if someone is willing to pay this..."

I'd need a rider if I were going to keep that set in my house, lol. I'd be constantly worried about getting robbed.

Even for the full set the price looks ridiculous. There are like 140 official games for the AES, this would account to more than 1400 euros for each game. I get this has all the metal slugs, ninja masters, etc, but it also has samurai shodown 1 and 2, fatal furies, KoF, etc. Summary: the guy is an absolute idiot. Also, it's the Japanese set, which (AFAIK) is less expensive than English one.

Pretty much what I thought. I wonder what the listing fee on that was.

No, not anymore. You get like 50 free listings before they start changing you. Where they really fuck you is the seller fees (10% of the sale price goes to ebay, 3% to paypal).

I'm curious what an actual full set would run. If I did the math I assume much less than $200,000, but maybe a bit more than $100,000.

Isn't metal slug 1, ultimate 11, and neo turf masters really the only real heavy hitters in that lot?

That would make the rest valued at $240,000.

Quiz Chibi is worth some decent coin, and Overtop isn't the most affordable.

No way a JP full set is six figures (Euro or American). Maybe if you include a convenience charge for the years of your life saved hunting them down :keke:

If anyone buys this, just think of all those holes that will be drilled into each game.

Pulstar, blazing star, twinkle star sprites are all four figures.

I'm guessing stakes winner 1 & 2 probably are as well but not exactly sure.

lots of non-mentionned JPN AES games are in the 4 figure department.

Shock Troopers 2nd Squad, Sengoku 2001, KOF2003, Kizuna, Neo Geo Cup 98 and more...

Then you have the lower (hi)priced games like Viewpoint, Andro Dunos, etc that goes for a serious ammount too.
that's crazy stuff.
