I'm looking for a stick controller for a CMVS. There is a kidney controller and a pro gear controller afaik.

Is one better than the other? I don't know which one to go for really.

I would like for it to be in decent shape and not too banged up.

If you have an extension cord I think I'm going to need that as well. :)

the oldstyle controller ("pro gear") is considered way better.
No, you may not have mine.
Want the best possible stick? Build your own. It's easy and cheap(er).

This is not right, they are both on the same level as far as quality goes, it all depends on how you like your button layout and spacing. Both sticks are decent, I prefer the kidney 'cause the arch isn't as pronounced where you have to lock your wrist to the right.

Custom will always be the best, however a Hori stick has an amazing base, decent parts too. All 3 sticks, the 1st party and the Hori are prime candidates for modding.

Is that a desktop enclosure? Came out pretty slick. are those 24mm buttons and if so what size are the smallies? What did you use?

they are seimitsu 24mm w/seimitsu stick.

Very close in size to an AES stick

So what about the source on that case? and the small buttons?

I'd have to dig around for those buttons. I got them from Mouser - case as well. I'll see if I can dig up the part #'s for you. The plexi was custom laser cut. the cables are brand new, db15 with leads - got them from ebay. [gamedoctorhk might sell them too iirc]
