I recently picked up a consolized MVS and a dozen MVS games. Looking to acquire some shock boxes for them. I see AliExpress has a bunch, but it’s AliExpress… so thought I would try asking here. 👻

You've been a member here for 21 years and you seriously don't know?

I've taken a lot of "breaks" over the years. I was especially active here in the 00s but had mostly been MIA the past 5 - 10 years.
I know of Southtown & Neooldstore and occasionally see stuff on eBay... but figuring that this is where a lot of Neo fans reside (and regularly sell/trade stuff), I thought I would see if anyone here happens to have boxes they don't want/need that they'd like to sell before looking elsewhere.

Southtown Homebrew is what I've used, and I found the quality to be much better than what I've got off Aliexpress in the past. Although from what I've read on this forum, most people think shock boxes are a waste and MVS carts should be stored by chucking them bare across a room into an old milk crate for 3 points each.

Also Aliexpress has raised their prices on cases a lot, if you're in the US then Southtown is probably cheaper anyway. I used to buy softbox style MVS cases from ali since they're smaller, but it seems like they aren't available anymore, only shocks.

I used to have my entire collection in shock boxes but then decided I preferred bare carts where I can see the labels and they literally take up half the space (1 bookcase vs 2)
