I was thinking about making a rib roast and then I saw that something called Yorkshire Pudding could be made from the fat/drippings. For all the Brits, in this forum. Is it good?

Yes they are good. The recipe is extremely simple, the secret is getting the oven and the oil in the baking tray hot as fuck before you put them in. If you don't they won't rise and they'll be a stodgy mess. Don't open the oven until they're ready either or they'll fold in on themselves. Crispy at the top, a bit soft still on the bottom is how I like them.

We're having a rib roast for xmas day too, I don't much like turkey.

Alton Brown just had a video about a standing rib roast and Yorkshire pudding on his YouTube channel.

Hey basic, it's me, your old pal LoneSage posting in your thread. Have a merry Christmas.
