I'm going to modify my official memory card with F-RAM. I'd like to go for 32k, but it needs a switch to select the bank.

Anyone tried it? How did you mount the switch?

I was thinking of using the reset button to toggle banks. Set up a JK flip flop to toggle when the reset signal comes in, although I need to check the schematic to see if that signal works that way.

It could really do with some indication too, but I don't think an LED would be visible through the case.

Any ideas?

I checked the reset pin on the memory card port with my oscilloscope, it doesn't change when I press the reset button on the console :-(

The AES3-5 schematic by Board Folk shows pin 58, which is the RESET line on PC Cards, as being unconnected. I'm not sire it's right as when I probe pins 57 and 60 I am seeing activity, and they are listed on the PC Card pinout as being used. But in any case, pin 58 isn't RESET.

Maybe I should settle for 16k.
