Oh no, not me. I commissioned "Super Pumpkins" to do this custom for me. I've also got a Splatterhouse and Castlevania one that came in.

holy crap that screen looks great! did you do the lcd mod yourself? my gamegear screen and sound both went bad and need it fixed

Yeah, I did it myself. The thing though is that it's really more of a portable Master System now, actual GG games show up super tiny in the screen.

Here's the link to the ebay auction I used, but several Chinese sellers have what appears to be the exact same screen.

The screen isn't perfect, and doesn't compare with the Vita or 3DS, so keep that in mind. It uses composite video for a signal, so things aren't as sharp as I think the screen is capable of, and it's a little bit dark. Still, a huge improvement, and it seems to be the screen recommended for Nomad and Game Gear use by experienced modders. One thing to note is that the screen calls for 12v power, and will run with as low as 9v, which isn't possible on battery power. You can either use a voltage regulator to convert it to a usable voltage or disable the screen's voltage regulator and wire it up to 5v, as the screen actually runs on 5v (this is what I did.)

I think anything is better than the original GG screen (I admit it looked awesome in the early '90s).
Some years ago I even did the GG screen LED mod (in the last 2 pictures of my photo gallery linked below, you can compare the top one - LED modded, with the original screen)
