Thanks Herb :) Dynamite Slugger was one of the 'cancelled' titles that slipped out in low numbers in the UK. It also has the distinction of having the most glaring proof reading error of any NGPC title:

The metallic blue one, was imaginatively just called 'blue' here lol. There were a lot more colours available in Japan. I've got all the UK colours except Silver, which I've got as a b/w. I think my favourite is the Aqua blue.

I've only got a few of the monochrome titles. As far as I know, the Japanese and English editions were sold in the UK. All mine are Japanese editions. The task I set myself at the time was getting the full UK 39 colour games. Anything beyond that was just gravy. I still ended up with about 70!

As we are now all watching the complete Reversi on fleabay, it got me thinking about how the market has evolved over the last 15 years. There seem to be a fair few collectors trying to put together a complete collection of UK titles even now. Shame more don't stop by here to discuss them! But...

There is one obvious exception to this, which is Samurai Shodown 2, where the single language version and the multi-language version also had different front covers.

For anyone who isn't sure what we mean. NGPC games sold in the UK tended to either have and English cover or a multi language cover. Some games seem to only have been sold here in either one of those or the other. Like Metal Slug 2 and Match of the Millenium were only available (here) as single...
