4th button wiring

I know that with jamma games that require more thn 3 buttons, an extra harness and wiring must be used for the extra buttons. What if I am using a big 1-slot? I will eventually build some sticks, but right now, I just want to use my supergun for MVS games. I really like my NEO sticks, and would give anything to use them. My question is, If I use an old style, big 1-slot, (with controller ports) will I need to modify my pinout any more than usual? (stereo and the like)

One thing I can think of (I have the old one-slot too) is the 4th button is on an unused set of lines - I can't think of them off the top of my head though.

Also, I don't think you can pull stereo sound off the JAMMA connector itself - you have to tap one of the Molexes on the side of the board.

Huh??? If you hook up a 1 slot pcb with joy ports to your Super Nova all you have to do is plug your original Neo Geo joysticks into those 'on board joy ports' and you're ready to play. You won't be using the joystick ports
of your Super Nova.
