I don't have an official one and was wondering if people here could confirm the voltage and amps so I don't end up frying my system.

10 V, 1.2 A I think.. look a bit below for more postings on that. And as for the neo newbie thing, that's your ranking.. the more you post, the higher it goes in time. just don't start posting senseless crap to raise it.

I have a 10v 1.2a adaptor and it doesn't work. I've heard from other people that you need an 8v ac adaptor.

It somewhat saddens me that you didn't read my post. A couple of days ago I posted "Definitive? PSU answers".

Please, read the posts regularly. That way, if there's something you see u wanna leave a comment on, you can - and that timid newbie goes up!

Mind you, the post is only about 5 below this one, I'm surprised you didn't see it!

Basically, you have to have the right polarity and other stuff.... but i'll let you read up on it in my earlier post :P

Its ok, but PSU is the right word. AC adapter is a bit odd, as some convert your mains AC to low voltage AC, some convert to DC. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
