Have you considered including the Japanese Paper box verions of games as a seperate verion in the Price Guide. I know some games, like Joy-Joy Kid were released in both a paper box version and a standard case (both japanese). In such case, one would be considered the rarer.
Now from my own opinion, I think the paper box titles are desirable for a collector because (due to their materials) they are relatively difficult to collect & keep than their standard counterparts. They also tend to be the first batch of Japanese home carts.
