Setting the cab on fire isn't really what makes the video funny. It's the fact he filmed for a half hour and then set it to a crappy metal soundtrack. I've discarded a few neo geo cabinet husks. Taking them to the landfill is a lot easier and doesn't leave a mess.

Don't think so. MDF doesn't stand up to pistol whipping. There would be no need for a fire

Cousins were obviously fucking somewhere in the park while this thing burned. The fire probably made them horny, like it did with cavemen.
