There are plenty of BINs in the $280 shipped range for it. Seems like an OK deal as mine was $250 direct from GameStop after tax and shipping. Might want to jump on one of those now while they're around.

Really? I thought they were $219.99 retail? I thought $60 more seemed excessive. Maybe not?

I teach two little kids on Mondays and I thought it would be a fun use of English to visit each others towns, exchange messages, etc.

Oh it definitely seems excessive but it's really not. Only $30 more than you would have paid direct. I was shocked when it came out to $250 for me.
