Arcana heart 3 anyone playing?

i borrowed the Japanese version from a friend and am thinking about getting the European release. cant see myself paying so much for DLC.
Not a big fighter fan but i like the depth the game has, or at least the illusion of it with 23 characters 23 arcanas. seems fairly well balanced as well and dont think a tier list is necessary .
have not played online yet as a have some issues even pulling off some of there bnb stuff

i do have a question when you select your arcana what do the top and bottom stars mean? i assume the more stars the better it is for you?

Top stars is the attack rating
Bottom stars is the defense rating
