what if banning him, thus removing his sole coping mechanism (outlet?), sends him on a downward spiral and he ends up doing himself in?
Maybe people on the web insulting and degrading him is the only thing holding him together.

I am no psychology major.. but showing interest in his problems and making him share.. or even trying to contact any off his acquaintances to check on him would be better than banning .. thus isolating him even more in his own lonely reality. I would imagine restricting access to obviously one of his sanctuaries might lead to further meltdown.

I've been extremely busy with other things over the last few months and my time to socialize is very limited. I still monitor the site, still laugh my ass off and still speak to people privately. I just can't get involved in more active things.

I'm here every day but like Vanilla, I'm also very busy at the moment (it's the fireworks season, after all) and often I'm so tired after setting up a show or manufacturing stuff that I just read threads or spend an hour or so in chat and then call it a day.
