Im new at neo geo, so what are best / good games released 1990-1994 ? Thanks already.

Samurai Shodown, and... if it came out in time, SamSho2 as well. Don't remember when that one came out, however. Baseball Stars2 kicks ass as well. I've always loved Viewpoint, too.

Some people love it, some hate it, but Fatal Fury Special. I am in the hate it camp, however. Don't like the play control.

Savage Reign was released in '95, but you can get it cheap, and it's a damn fine game.

imo samurai shodown is the best pre 1995 neo geo game you can buy, the graphics were unbelievable and the gameplay rocks, also i love Baseball stars II

Best early games were Fatal Fury Special, Art of Fighting 2, and Samurai Shodown 2 (the best SS).
