If they just put on waders, then you could tell how shallow the water is. If someone's floating by on a crappy little boat, then 18 inches of water looks more exciting.

Just maybe, like the article says there are always weirdos trying to help other people out in shitty situations and its not just sensationalism or yahoos..most folks don't have a helichopper what else would they use? Even if you weren't out to be a do gooder you wouldn't be able to go to work so why not get your toys out and use them in a way you might not ever get too?

Every fucking time! Same thing happened here a couple of weeks ago when we got all the rain, idiots drive straight into roads already a foot under water lol.
