I play Capcom vs SNK for several months on Dreamcast and i think the Capcom playstyle is better than SNK playstyle in this game!!!
They are similar to Advanced and Extra Modes in King of Fighters series, but Capcom mode is way better for Player Vs Player Games.
First-it is easier and safer to max it power gauge levels.Second-the power gauge dont go down when you previous character loses the round! And final-you can make your Super DM anytime you want and that help a lot in PvP battle!!!

Yeah, I'll go along with that. I've always liked Capcom's powerup style better, even if KOF is, IMO, the better game. With the Capcom groove you can pull off the higher powered specials, albeit less often. I think it is the better of the two grooves in Capcom vs. SNK.

I say that SNK groove is better it is easiler to use a super without keep on using special moves too much to charge up the bar. When the health is at the red zone I can use the supers and DMs like crazy and kill the opponent quickly.

If you're an aggressive player, you pick Capcom Groove. If you're a defensive player, you pick SNK Groove.

if u want more varieties of level supers and non-manual powerups,go for the capcom groove.if u want, supers that can be executed anytime when u charge and faster groove point gains, take the snk groove.

notice thet i say that snk groove has faster pts.gain IMO.its cuz wheneever u do infinite supers, when countering an opponent,ur groove points go up.

I use Capcom groove almost exclusively. From the way I have played, I don't think there are enough opportunities to charge the super meter to make SNK the better groove. However I do use SNK groove when I'm trying to fight the hidden characters, because (1) The CPU is dumb enough to let you charge the meter almost freely, and (2) it's easier to finish with supers this way.
