I don't live too far from the guy, but as most of you know, my garage is a huge mess and I don't have space for it.
Maybe if he drops it down below 1k, I will buy it just because. Hahah.

I wonder what that framed comic art is, in the reflection behind him.

These cabs looks nice but take up a crapload of space. Like Roger, I wish I had more space :(

The monitors are great on these things but the cabs themselves are ugly enough that I wouldn't want it in my house. Price seems alright though. If it's from an arcade I'd bet it's from South Town.

I've only shipped one cab before (Blast City) and the seller arranged everything. So I don't know anything about shipping a cab.

It's a nightmare, trust me lol

I was the one who shipped the cabinet that I purchased from 300wins (Blast City) and honestly its not difficult at all if you know who to go through. I used STI (Specialized Transportation Inc.) - www.stidelivers.com - They have a ebay and gaming team that specializes in shipping arcade machines. They just need the dimensions of the cabinet, name and address, zip code of where it is being picked up at, item paid for and verified paid for by the seller via a Phone Call which is done when they set-up a Pick-Up Date for the item, and then they call you back with Delivery Date. They will be able to give you a price right on the spot. They may ask you if an area is 18 wheeler accessible or not but generally speaking they won't bring an 18 wheeler to pick-up an arcade machine or to deliver it. I spent maybe 20 minutes on the phone with them total over the entire course of the transaction. They will ask you questions regarding a loading dock or if the truck needs a motorized lift on it to get the machine onto the truck. If the item is being picked up on ground level or if stairs are involved. Obviously depending upon the answers to these questions, the price will vary slightly. They blanket wrap and bubble wrap the item twice over and that's that. I just noticed this thread and I am really tempted to talk to 300wins about buying this and doing the shipping thing all over again with him.

I would be willing to trade my Dedicated Killer Instinct with KI1 and KI2 boards for this. I would pay shipping cost from California to Michigan on the Noir clone. Trader would have to pay shipping from Michigan to wherever on my KI.

http://s12.photobucket.com/user/Hellarage/library/Killer Instinct?page=1 - I can give more specific details if you need them. I've replaced practically everything in this machine. I have 2 brand new speakers for it that I haven't installed yet but I would include them.

That seem pretty simple thanks for the info for future references...I finally got a chance to see the original Noir in person. Im actually not that impress with it compared to the videos i've seen in youtube. Still $1200 is a good price i would definitely get it if it was local.

Yeah if you are shipping within the USA, it isn't complicated. Now if you are importing something from overseas then its significantly more complicated. You have shipping from their warehouse to a dock, then shipping from their dock to a USA dock, US Customs Broker fees, shipping from US dock to place of delivery. It can get quite a bit more expensive if you are doing something like that. Its also much more time consuming to set all of it up. I haven't done anything like that personally but I know several people who are well versed in doing such a thing if anyone needs help with doing that in the future as well.
