Given the fact that I own a Japanese AES, i'm always reluctant to bid on US or EUR games for the system. I was wondering whether i could play those games as well, without modding my system or buying converters?

Does every game, no matter where it's from, offer the player a language selection option, which includes English?

There is no problem, you can buy want you want for your AES.

Not all games offer an English language selection. Most of the newer games (from 1996 on) do, but the older ones do not (there are some exceptions of course).

The only games this would apply to would be the Mahjong/quiz games.
