Just picked it up myself. Konami, IMO, still makes the most bad ass bosses. The game is completely old school. Explosions from the begining vis-a-vis Alien Wars.

definitely pick it up if you're a contra fan.

I just pickedit up from EB. It's amazing. Metroid Prime should have been this. Sweet 3-D rendered graphics with 2-D gameplay. Man just amazing. This is the Symphony of the Night for Contra. I got it, not happy bout the boot problem, but once this game works its the best shooter, since the metal slug series

Yea it's very nice. So has anyone beat this on normal?? I know, it's a stupid question, but I beat stages 1-3, but then on 4 just kept eating it. You know what's crazy, I was reading that not even the maker of this game could beat it on normal, that's a bad sign. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> So anyone done it yet?

Incredible game! I've been playing for the last hour but have only made it through stage 1. On the plus side, I found a way to kill the Tremors beast in the snowboarding scene before it goes into the difficult to jump/dodge cross-screen pattern.
