CPS2 question

I got several non working CPS2 boards from a friend, and I'm trying to Fix them (phoenix).

the first one was totally dead, but now I'm working on a Marvel vs Capcom green board. and it shows a Qsound init problem.

Would that be just a program error? fixable by burning new eproms....
or should I look into something else?

I'm not familiar with the Suicide Tester eprom but that seems to suggest a board problem rather than a ROM problem.

Check the ones that say O1 and O2. They may need a reseat or a reburn.

MVS 01 and MVS 02 Roms are in the wrong sockets. These two have been switched. Switch them back and re-try.

The 01 Rom should be in the 01 Socket. And the 02 Rom should be in the 02 Socket.

Cool, after switching those roms the board checks ok.
