Hello
I have a Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha
and it's missing the component marked in the pic.

I have no idea what to buy to replace it.
Can someone give me a hand?

It's part of the battery circuit. If it caused your board to suicide, now is a good time to phoenix it and you won't have to worry about replacing it.

My gut feeling was the board was phoenixed anyway, or someone removed this in an attempt to phoenix it. I'd go with your call here, may as well phoenix it now.

Did you short out the legs of CC1 right next to the battery? That can hold residual charge and keep the phoenix code from working.

I did short the legs of that cap, but the board was dead for a while before I got it.

Try the resistor trick. I think 220ohm or so tied to the cap and ground. It's in the tech forum, can't find it right now.
