Like dp review only for blenders? I need a pretty much indestructible one for milkshake. Snickers bars and caburys cream eggs murder most blenders.

lol

I just got sick of paying £2.50($5USD) for a shake. There is an awesome milkshake bar in Liverpool called Mandy Moos. Have hundreds of flavors but they are just choccy bars and stuff with decent quality ice cream. This way it's cheaper and I don't have to hang out with annoying emo/scenester kids.

Two great features in a blender:

1) Glass caraffe instead of hard plastic
2) Clover shaped caraffe (instead of round or rounded square). This helps heavy chunks from swirling around the outside.

Alton Brown has a good book on what to look for in kitchen supplies. Hunt it down even if just to read up on the blender section in the middle of your book store. I couldn't find a way to not make that last sentence sound like you were running a blender in a bookstore.
