Dsi modding

Got my daughter a dsi xl, I have a gba I used a micro sim card mod and could play games on that. Anyone hetevhave good info on what I need to mod the dsi to play emulators, dsi games movies etc from a sd card. What should I buy or need to do. I have looked online but I need input from someone who has actually done it. Abd the best method or product to buy. Thanks in advance

There is no "mod", you just need whatever the newest flash card is. There is a new one about once a month so I can't help you since all my shit is for the original DSi, and that probably doesn't work with the XL.

I've been reading into thisw the past 2 days now and its come down to 2 cards that work without issue.

The Supercard DSTWO That will play backups and music, movies and homebrew ext..

Or the Acecard2i that just plays backups 100%.

yeah. there is a new flash card that works on the DSi.

i do not know which one is best anymore....

I'm not sure how a card could only play backups. If it will load a retail game it should load anything else.

Acekard2i is awesome in my experience on the XL. Never used it for homebrew, so can't speak for it there.
