ebay can be thought of as person to person transactions.
Don't see how this would pass.

If only.

eBay started out as a garage sale but now it's an online casbah for people to ply their wares at their stands. It's not different from the physical ones.

eBay would not urge people to oppose the tax if it didn't affect them, but good luck in getting support from the community of users considering the butt-raping that eBay has done over the years.

eBay is providing a service.Nobody is forcing you to use eBay. This new proposed tax is just a money grab...

But the call-to-arms is issued by eBay. I have hardly heard any other murmurs against the move, which I think is unusual for these matters — especially considering there is an organized political party that seems to eschew taxes almost like a religion.

eBay's conduct has seemed more like a "money grab" than anything else proposed by the internet tax.

This would be hell for ebay - they'd have to send out statements at the end of the year to millions of people.
