Are there any gameplay differences between the two versions?

There are no gameplay differences between the 2 ,except for the text .The international version has voice and animation missing form the titl screen though.

Apparently there are some differences in some of the materials used in making the pcb and mine happens to be an original japan pcb (Atlus logo on it)

From a collectors perspective,they value the japan version over the international one more ,while others value the international version more .

But i guess that in this case,you got the best of both worlds

just swap the 2 roms and way you go....
