Is the UK version cropped to 1.85:1 or is it 2.35:1 like it should be? A lot of Canadian and UK blu-ray releases that I've seen have had bad aspect ratios...

Sadly...it has been chopped.

I know from experience that the back of the case says original aspect ratio...but the print has actually been altered for 16x9.

That said....$15 is a great price stateside and the film looks beautiful on blu ray.
