The cart seems to clear the backup RAM, where hi scores are saved, every time you change games. However if you use a UniBIOS and a memory card, the scores are kept in the memory card (UniBIOS does the saving).

Yeah, not so great for a CMVS with no card.
Great if you're not bothered about scores though.

Oh thank god hahaha, thanks. I would have been super sad when my stuff comes in and I couldn't save my scores on any of those games on that cart!
