Why the fuck do they need to remake Oldboy, Infernal Affairs and pretty much all the RECENT asian movies? Do americans really hate subtitles THAT much or something?

Not to mention the Taxi movie that's been out for a while. Were they afraid it wouldn't sell because the original was french? Yeah, better remake it with QUEEN LA-fucking-TIFAH and shit all over the original movie.

Somebody tell me: what's so wrong with the FIRST REMAKE of the Fly with Jeff Goldblum, that they have to make a second remake. A re-remake? WTF? The Fly (remake) is one of my favorite movies ever, and now they're redoing it? And this soon? WTF?

Agreed why bother in the frist place?

Just about any horror fan consider, David Cronenburg remake of 'The Fly' a classic these days.

I hope Hollywood doesn't try for... The Thing next 'John Carpenter' version is good enough for me.
