might buy a gba soon.

but...

need to know what version of castlevania the gba version comes closest to...

to me, it looks like the latest snes version...

but im hoping its more like the psx version. in the way the playing area is so vast and you are free to return here and there as you wish.

so what does it play like?
level by level? or more rpg like?

It plays very similar to the PSX version. Some have gone so far to call it an unofficial sequel. Very close gameplay.
