I HAVE A REAL BIG PROBLEM WITH GIF MOVIE GEAR please help

Hey, i have gif movie gear for making animated gifs, and i havent used it in a while, so today i go to use it cuz i wanna make an animated gif. Ok for the first hmmm... lets say 45 secounds it works fine, then i get an illegal operation message and i have no choice but to click ok and it quits out of the program, and so i tried it again and the same thing happends so i restart my comp and try it and i still happens, does anyone know why???? Read the illegal operations message. It clearly states that if the problem persists, that you should contact the program vendor.

Try these things...
Make sure you have enough hard drive space open, if you don't, get rid of some things.

run a scandisk

if time permits, defrag

if possible, uninstall, and reinstall the program
