You really don't want to know the actual cost per page for an inkjet. Oh yeah, and they under rate the page coverage...usually something silly like 5% when in the real world it's around 12%. So that means that it really costs twice as much to operate as what the box says.

I still have an inkjet printer at home and since I can get replacement ink carts for $2 locally the cost per page is reasonable for me.

it´s an old Epson C60.

I just had to deal with a dot matrix Epson at work, actually only a year old but its such a slut.

I used to bump into my old neighbor in the electronics room at the Thrift Store... I'd ask him what he was doing... "I ran out of Ink, I just need to steal a few cartridges". He would just find his printer and take all the cartridges.

I still have my inkjet I got in 2005. The ink is cheap and it's still kicking. I am wanting to get a laserjet though. I saw a vid on youtube where you can use a laser jet to etch custom PCBs.
