It seems Rage of Dragon is the only title that Playmore tries to create by themselves.

What is the going price for AES or MVS as I'm looking to buy one.

Fun...but not spectacular, especially considering what other fighers are available in the same price range

If you mainly plan on playing against other people it can be a lot of fun.

I think ckchan has the mvs version going for 58$.

I personally love this game and feel its totally underrated. Its got great presentation and graphics all around. Music is pretty decent and that tagging gameplay is something that is missed in almost all neo games.

I'm gonna have to agree I picked this game up a couple months ago and me and my friend play this every chance we get. My favorite team is PEPE and PUPA but I also like to pick cheap ass KANE in the mix. The only thing I hate is when we play like 10 stages in a row with no walls. This may sound stupid but it reminds me of MVC2 and Tekken tag hybrid. Flashiness and huge combos of Mvc2 and the air juggles like tag.

I dunno what the home cart costs, but MVS can be had for a reasonable price..... Not the single greatest fighter on the system, but I feel it's worth at least playing to form your own opinion about. It has some factors (like the dial-a-combo mode) that can be very polarizing, but the presentation is top-notch, and the game is solid from a technical standpoint.

A pretty good game. Some fun wall juggle combos, easy dial a combo system.

Not a memorable game, but not bad either.

I think it's great. Definitely worth it if you can find one in the $60-$80 range. Keep in mind that it really plays nothing like most fighters. It has a totally different feel from every other fighter I've played.

Also, the learning curve is ridiculously steep.

Evoga made Rage of the Dragons...

Evoga Entertainment is a former Mexican video game company. It was the first Latin American company solely dedicated to producing video games, beginning operations in 2000. The company's most widely known game was Rage of the Dragons, in which Evoga planned and designed both the game and the characters and handing off development to the Noise Factory in Japan and publishing to SNK Playmore. This was also the first Japanese-Mexican collaboration of its kind. Evoga began bankruptcy procedures and ceased operations in 2004.

I never knew that. That really explains a lot about RotD. It has a very Mexico / Latin American vibe to it. This whole time, I just thought it was some Japanese company with a Spanish fetish.

It was definitely worth it when Shawn had new kits for $35.

Decent fighter, cool graphics, good music, I'd say it is worth it in MVS... on the other hand... in AES... I'm pretty sure you would have to sell your sould or something like that in order to buy it, just like Last Blade 2 or GAROU O_O ...

Bingo.

I'd say it was even worth $50-$60, if you couldn't get it cheaper. I like the game a lot. Personally, I prefer it to Matrimelee.

I'd pass on $95, though.

I'll go ahead and third this.;)

Fun game. I enjoy it and would definitely recommend it (especially if it can be found cheap).

Average game, worth a few bucks but nothing too specials. For me it pales in comparison to the Sam Sho, Real Bout, and Last Blade series. And if you play all of those combined with the numerous awesome Capcom/Namco series out there, then there's no real need for this title.

I bought it from the Neostore when it hit $50 the first time, and I love it. It's not on the level of MOTW or Samurai Shodown, but it's still better than most Neo fighters. On a system full of fighters, it manages to stand out for uniqueness.

Definitely worth it at the right price on the MVS. For all it's flaws, the combo system in the game can be really fun (if not cheap) and looks pretty good. And even though there are other fighting games to be had for cheaper, I would still say it's worth a shot. It's a unique experience. Plus, if you're a Double Dragon fan at all, you have to love the connection.
