Is there anyway to have both a japanese xbl account and a us account without having 2 xbox's?
I Know its true you cant play jap games on a us console but can you play us games on a japanese or asian console?

lastly does buying a jap console ensure i can make a jap xbl account?

Yes, you can create a japanese account and have it on the same xbox.

But you can't play all Japanese games, only the ones that are region free.

And it goes the other way. It all depends on how the game is coded. There are lots that don't work on one system or the other.

Create a gmail account, set the region to Japan.

Go to xboxlive.com and create a new gamertag and Live account and set the region to Japan.
If you do it right the Terms of Service box should be in Japanese.

Then you can sign on your XBox and use the 'recover gamertag' option to put it on your machine.

Not a lot you need the Japanese account for though. You can play the games under either account as long as your system is in the right region.

There are some gamertags, videos, and a few little downloads on the Japanese Live though that aren't on the U.S. version. And I think a bit of DLC.
