Just got myself my first cab.

As the topic states, just picked up my first cab for 150 bucks, from what it looks like it was originally an ikari warriors, then converted to final fight, and now has an SF2 world warrior board in it. Needs some work, but pretty stoked about finally picking one up. I'll have some pics later.

I had to have it on free play, I'm too cheap to pay my own machine.

Be careful that the freeplay setting doesnt burn in your monitor, since it doesn't go into attract mode. If you get a CE or HF board, you should be fine with freeplay

World warrior still cycles through the attract mode in free play.

The problem is that the "free play" itself doesn't move.

I've never understood why the developers didn't program games so that the "insert credit" or "free play" text doesn't just move a pixel to the left every once in a while.

Ah, yeah. I usually don't leave it on when not in use though.

Another option would be to just add a hidden coin button.

Yes, let's see the whole machine. My main concern is that CPO looks mega small. You need 3 more buttons, and I'll be damned if I know where they're going to go.

Going to move the P2 stick over to the right a bit, that'll leave room enough for everything.
