Hello, first time posting so I hope I am doing this right.
I recently got KotM2 for MVS and unfortunately I have some issues with it. After I got it, I checked everything for authenticity and cleaned the cart really good. Wanted to try the game and got garbled graphics. After another thourough cleaning the game worked fine in the intro and menus but I didn't check ingame because I didn't want to spoil myself (didn't play KotM1 at that point). Now I wanted to play part 2 and the graphics are all over the place again and I can't get it to work no matter what I do. UniBios CRC check fails as well. Every time I run the check it shows a different string. First thought was that one of the P Chips needs a swap but it seems that KotM2 is one of the games that is likely to fail the CRC check, right? I can't check without unibios because I only have one MVS board with unibios and I don't have the original bios. What should be my next step here? Should I just buy an eprom programmer and check the P roms if they are indeed bad or should I first try and get another MVS board without unibios? Maybe you guys can help me with next steps. Kind of lost at this point.
Thanks
