yeah. there's always something that i might mix up a bit. even our teachers didn't know what they were doing. we had to pronounce the american way but spelling was strictly "uk english". (maybe it's been very old fashioned, too.)
differences that used to confuse me very often :
color - colour
elevator - lift
apartment - flat
i think that the different way of writing the date is just another example for those little differences that make learning english somewhat hard.
almost everything i know about english was taken from english bmx magazines (ride ,ridebmx, snap), mtv and the internet.
just read my statements an think about the fact that i've been one of the very best students of my english class. very sad. <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />
