KOF 98 on Genesis

I finally got to play that boot KOF 98 for genesis my buddy won on ebay.

Its REALLY bad lol.
Its like bad mugen programming on crack. There are also street fighter characters in the game. Cammy, Ryu, and Guile. The most humorous thing about the whole game is that it seems to have the sound track from the genesis Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game! Just imagine a low budget KOF intro coming on to "go go power rangers" tis true lol.

That's very funny. How is that possible to convert KOF '98 on the Genesis and adding Cammy, Ryu, & Guile?
Can you post some pics of it? I really want to see this.

Yeah I won one at ebay too, Im just waiting for it now, but I downloaded the ROM, (since I techincally own it now) and played it.. Meh, i guess its kinda worth my 20 bucks.

Now i need to find a Genny

yeah, I'd say you got your 20.00$ worth just in having something to laugh at with your friends.

Is it playable though? I mean, I still play super street fighter on my SNES when I'm feeling nastolgic, and it's 'playable' in my opinion. Is this something you could play with friends, or is it just for show only?

Daisuke, I think that was me dude, lol, i think i remember that bid amount to clearly.. Sorry dude. If the auction you were bidding on was won by one 'cosmicspiderman', that would be me.

The game is 'playable', but its sorta, worse than Fatal Fury 1 on the SNES playable. Most of the characters have one move mapped, and I found it extremely hard to execute Ryu's fireball, or Ryo's for that matter. I dont know how it will act with a real Genny controller, i was using a Micro$oft $idewinder. Oh and, the game only uses 2 buttons for some chars, and 3 for others. I found that some chars cannot block, so the A button is used for blocking, B is punch, and C is kick. Also, if you hold FORWARD with punch or kick, you get a Fierce Punch, or Roundhouse kick.

Ill probably sell it though, eventually. Who knows. I really thought it was KING OF FIGHTERS, but hacked up like Fatal Fury Special was on the NES (yes there is a NES ROM of FFspecial out there) but no, this game has Terry, Ryu, Cammy, Guile, Ryo, Takuma and a few others. Its kinda crappy.

Gosh,i own a TEKKEN2 vs. VIRTUA FIGHTER,and once saw a SOUL EDGE for Genesis..
...so nothing suprises me anymore.

Haha, i have Virtua fighter vs Tekken 2 on my emu. It sucks bigtime. And also there are two Fighting vipers characters in the game.

The animation sucks, no gameplay (most freeware games are way better) and when i think about it, the whole game just sucks. ;P
