seems like a list of all the rare games with extremely low prices. If you would sell them at those prices i would buy them all <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

Blazing Star ??? count to pay like 500-600 $ for thatone.
Twinkle Star Sprites ??? I would say 600-700$
if you can find it.

Still very impressive collection you have for someone who started a year ago.

I don't appreciate the insinuation. I do not typically deal in the resale of the Neo Geo Home carts I purchase (only when I get duplicate or lesser quality than I want). I am an ebay seller of Sega Game Gear, and other CHEAP classic games. Not Neo Geo home cart. I want these games for my COLLECTION, as I said. Every time I post my list of games that I still need (I started when it was still in the 50's) I got jeered at for the low prices, and how small my collection was (yeah small, 50+ carts). I stick to my guns and try to get good deals. Thats why Im sitting on over 90 carts total right now, not because Im rich. I know the prices I listed are low, and that is what I would LIKE to get the game at. I know their value, and if I want a game and can wait no longer, I some times jump on the title for more. I know Twinkle Star is going to be one of those. Im ready to pay anything to get that game.

*ANYONE* can get a Metal Slug 1 for $1,000 - but I yet to see a Magical Drop 2 forsale at ANY price.

That's quite a scale for one game to range on. Almost sounds suspicious. Why not just describe the 4 individual components?

That is one of the rarest games around. I had to dish out over $400 for a copy this year <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Was that the copy on Yahoo! Japan that was going for upwards of 40000 yen or something? I didn't follow it right to the end so I always wondered how it turned out.

no, but I had to pay even more to get another copy. I remember when supersellers had some copies for under $200. I was a poor college student then...boils my blood just thinking about it. Anyways the cd version is miles better than the cart, so I might part with my copy but not at DreamH2o-esque pricing.

I dunno what the issue is with my optimistic prices... Carlson I even TOLD YOU, that if you had a game on my list to at least offer it to me... I paid $371 for Magical drop 3 on ebay... and my set price I was aiming for was like $200... You would be surprised how many games I have gotten at my prices.... just like shawn post his prices (and does not get made fun of) people DO need money some times and DO sell... knowing the game will goto a player, and not a reseller.

Id like to post an example... and this is no way to make you change your target... if you have to critisize someone leave shawn out of it.

As posted on neo-geo.com the buy back prices, as compaired to Dreamh2o's "want list".

First My Price / second Shawns Price as published 7/8/2001

Art of Fighting 3 $225 / $150
Blazing Star $??? / $400
Breakers $300 / $325
Kizuna Encounter $400 / $525
Legend of Success Joe $125 / $80
Magical Drop 2 $200 / $200
Master of Syougi $175 / $80
Metal Slug 2 $200 / $200
Metal Slug 3 $375 / $350
Neo*Geo Cup 98 $90 / $80
Neo Turfmasters $250 / $300
Ninja Master's $500 / $500
Over Top $250 / $300
Pulstar $300 / $400
Quiz Chibi Deluxe $275 / $500
Quiz Detective 2 $100 / 75
Ragnagard (Shin-oh-Ken) $200 / $170
Shock Troopers 2nd Squad $225 / $180
Sonic Wings 3 $200 / $150
Stakes Winner 2 $155 / $85
Super Sidekicks 4 (Ult.11) $250 / $350
Twinkle Star Sprites $??? / $600
Waku Waku 7 $350 / $340
World Heroes Perfect $200 /$150

I count 5 instances out of my list of 24 (title of the string is wrong <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> where Shawn pays more, and 19 times where I pay MORE than Shawn.
Shawn gets his games at these prices (or so I am lead to belive)... the point is, if your going to sell... sell to a gamer first... then to a used game reseller.
I will GLADLY match any price that is higher on this list, and pay the same as Shawn would... if you really want to sell. Im really sick of the whole issue of your thinking Im unreasonable. The better the price, the more chance I can buy it... but if you have one of these freakin games and you want to sell it, offer it to me at least...

Get it?

Sure Dreamh2o, you decide you are going to overpay for Magical Drop 3 when me and Yucky are bidding on it. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> $&*%@!$ Sniper! <IMG SRC="smilies/ohno.gif" border="0"> $371 is not bad the Drops are going up in price. <IMG SRC="smilies/loco.gif" border="0">

Yes, as much as I love a good deal, some times I have to have a game... I can only take so much toying around with an emulator, before I must have some games. Right now Twinkle Star Sprits is that "tops on my list" I just cant see paying hundreds for a fake... Im not that hot after MD2 right now, because I have the MD3 to play, the MD2 and others like MS2 and Quiz Chubi, that I only intend to get to complete the collection, are low priority, hence my waiting for a bargin. (Games I want to play... thats another issue).

I bought Quiz Chibi Deluxe and Quiz Detective 2 on MVS for $40 a piece recently... I was so freaking happy!!! I had never seen these games for sale, and I saw that in the price guide they were anywhere from $60 -$150 dollars. Good deals happen, and usually to those who wait. I bugged everyone about these games, tracked down a few leads, and then took a complete stab in the dark and got really lucky... I am happy <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> I know you will get the games you want DreamH2O and for the price you want to pay, there are still good deals out there,

Hey DreamH20,

You are right, and you do not have to say anymore. I too have been doing this for 8 months and collecting almost every game at lower than price guide prices. What I am trying to agree with you is that great deals can happen. Great job in collecting almost all the games; I am just behind you. <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
