Why in the hell would someone who doesn't have an aviation background be put in charge of the FAA?

Air Traffic Controllers now enter the workforce with pay low enough to qualify for food stamps...does this make sense to anyone?

No, they got payed top federal wage untill the 2005 contract. Hopefulyl in two years when the contract is up they get a better deal (by then I'll likely be one of them)

Um the FAA is a government regulatory agency, its just as worthless as all the rest of them. Abolish it.

As for their pay. I guess it isn't a highly valued position.
