I was kinda curious what people here thought about sellers that put their mark on item in UV ink. I recently bought an MVS cart from a local seller and when I got it home it had a scambled picture. So I took it back, and the guy puts it under this black light type flashlight and there clear as day is the dude's initials.

He says he does it to make sure people don't try and pull switches on him, which I can understand, but at the same time, I don't like the idea of some guy marking his initials all over a cart that he's selling.

I can see both sides here, so what do you think about it?

Can't say I've heard of someone doing that before.. Was it just on the cart shell itself? Whats to stop someone from swapping boards? Seems it would be a bit much effort to mark everything for what has to be a pretty rare occurrence..

But in the end I suppose if you buy a used product you get a used product.. There is no telling where it has been or what has been done with it.
