Mortal Kombat 1, sound cables

Hello!
I finally got my MK1 board and as I already knew it doesn't have the Sound power cable and the Volume pot.

Can anyone tell me how to connect the power?
(by soldering wires to the connectors)
or where I can buy the cable.

same with the Volume pot.

any help will be great.

All the info is here, except sound pot (which goes on P5 if i remember correctly.) One of the boards i have, 1K pot soldered to it, which works, but is little too low.

main board J2 header
1 Violet: Speaker +
2 Blue: Speaker -
3 Gray-Yellow: +12V
4 Gray-Yellow: +12V
5 Key (leave empty)
6 N/C
7 Black: Ground
8 Gray: +5V

sound board P7 header
1 Blue: Speaker -
2 N/C
3 N/C
4 Violet: Speaker +

sound board P6 header
1 Gray: +5V
2 Black: Ground
3 N/C
4 Key
5 Gray-Yellow: +12V
6 Gray-Yellow: +12V

Go by the numbering of the pins on the board!!

In short, power goes into the soundboard from the mainboard.
Then sound (speaker+ speaker -) goes back into the mainboard, to the jamma edge.
The volume pot is wired only to the sound board.

KEY means there is no pin connected / missing pin.

Please, get some connectors / crimp etc. and do not solder directly to the board

I got a connector and the board now has sound.
Now I need the correct pot for the volume and I'm set

You want a high value like 50k for the volume pot.

I'm using a 50k pot right now, but if I turn the volume all the way up, the board resets.
maybe the PS is not good enough? so I just added a 5.5k resistor to the line, and now everything works fine.
