Hey hey. :) I went to a motorcycle swap meet earlier this weekend, and figured I'd post some pics for everyone. Overall it was a great show, featuring mostly vintage Harleys. (knuckleheads, flatheads, panheads, sportsters, shovelheads etc.) Variety's always good however, so I was a little disappointed in the rather small number of British bikes, and total lack of Japanese bikes. There were a couple nice Triumphs, but no Nortons at all. Certainly no Vincents. Before anyone asks: Yes, the Hell's Angels and Iron Horsemen were there lawlz.

The following pics are from Syracuse Super Swap '09:

cool stuff, man it'd be nice to own one.

Any Indians? what does the motorcycle community think of those.

Nice. Reminds me of when I went to "The Art of the Motorcycle" show at the Guggenheim exhibit --I didn't see it at the NYC location, but there was (for a brief time) a Guggenheim in The Venetian in Vegas and it had moved there. Some of the stuff they had was gorgeous (and in many cases, extremely rare). Went from the original motorcycles to the present.

cool stuff, but I agree that it'd be nice if there were more british, japanese bikes.

Did you look that the pics?

C'mon stage, there are four that clearly say Indian on them.

I love the old Indians. Most of the newer bikes do nothing for me, but something that looks like a literal bicycle with a motor bolted between the frame makes me smile.

Oh and lol 14.4k...is there anyone that still has and uses one of these modems?

Nice pics, I love retro stuff, but on the other hand I would love to own a modern racer - and not just for an excuse to wear those awesome leather outfits.

My choice picks would be;

Yamaha R7; (WSBK 2000 - Haga rode like a God but was docked points unfairly and robbed of the championship).

Ducati 848; Duke brings back the single sided swing arm and the bike looks the business again.

And last but not least, hows about a NEW Norton!
