Casing feels light/cheap. The screen is pretty bright/good, but, there are a few dead pixels. Controls are decent, two buttons are normal, two are turbo. The controller is for playing 2P with a friend (M doesn't have any friends, so, paying a bit more for that was kind of pointless, but, hey, it was cheap). Sound is all right. You can hook it up to a TV too with the AV cables. You can't save games or import new ones. ROM selection is a mixed bag (silliness like Golden Axe IV is really Astyanax), but, 800 games is 800 games. Definitely worth the $15 I spent and it's kind of amazing the shit you can get from China for next to nothing!

That's pretty neat.

I recently went on a hunt for a back-lit gameboy, as I only owned an original model. Prices are so ridiculous I ended up getting a "gb boy colour," and it has a nice bright screen and 60ish games built in that show up if no game is in the cart slot.

Yeah, it would've been cool if this could play my GB carts too, but, the 800 preinstalled games are all that you can do with it.

It makes a humming noise while it's on too, not too obnoxious, and the music usually drowns it out, but, noticeable, when you're used to silent Nintendo handhelds.

I had a gb boy colour, it was surprisingly good picture quality and backlighting. Never went with the IPS modded Gameboy colors because of that

It is fine until you realize hundreds of them are just repeats.
I noticed a few, but, most seem to be unique games. I've tried Alpha Mission, Super C, Silkworm, Super Mario Bros., Bucky O'Hare, Double Dragon, Bomberman, Ninja Gaiden 3, Tetris, etc. so far. The funniest one was Rescue Rangers 3, an Ikari Warriors type overhead shooter with Dale replacing the soldier, that really is a Squirrel War! I was disappointed that there are no Castlevanias, Mega Mans, or DuckTales though, unless they're on there with different names. Putting TMNT, Tournament Fighters & The Manhattan Project on it, but not TMNT II: The Arcade Game, strikes me as really odd too.
