Nam 1975 and Unibios cheats

Okay, I'm playing Nam-1975 on my AES with Unibios 3.0, everything is fine until I use a cheat, like infinite lives. When the character dies and the next life starts the cursor can be missing, or the player character is invisible. Can anyone else see the same effect of is it just my setup?

Ive found simular issues when me and a friend tried out the cheats. The invincible cheat should be fine, and the unlimited ammo and grenades cheats also, but i had those exact same issues when we tried the infinity lives cheat.
