So I've got an MVS-U4-25 (READ: Candy cab) where I have a key for *most* of it (Mini Marquee area, back, and control panel) but two things:
I'm a little nervous about losing the key, but the locks seem to differ juuuust enough I've had a hard time getting the key repro'd at a locksmith that works in more than one of the locks.
I lack a matching lock/key for the coin bucket and the service door (where the PCB/motherboard lives).
I know(?) that American locks tend to differ, but would any Japanese locks be able to replace all these (where the locks/tangs for the CP seem the most risky)?
If I could replace all this (heresy!) with something like Sega 5380s I'd love it, but I dunno if that has any chance in hell of working.
