Need Questions answered about how to get into E3?

So if you wanted to go to E3 next year and wanted to get the process started, how do you do it? Do you have to be connected in some way to the industry? When does registration start for the 2005 E3. I would appreciate to know how to go about the process. Thanks.

From my understanding, you need to be part of the industry, 18 or older, and fork over some major cash to get in (fees).

My mom knows an arcade operator/dealer that she does business with for her bar/restaurant. She can talk to them and arrange something. Will they work? Or what exactly will suffice?
